Google Workspace migration services for US organizations

Migrations are judged on the Monday after the cutover, not on the copy statistics. That means the window has to sit in the organization's own time zone, with the engineer reachable through it and through the first working day afterwards.

For a single-site organization that is straightforward. For one spanning Eastern and Pacific offices, the window has to respect both: a cutover that starts at 6pm Eastern begins while the West Coast is still working, so either the window moves later or the West Coast stops earlier by agreement rather than by surprise.

Quotes are issued in USD against a counted estate: mailbox count and total mail volume, file and folder counts, shared drive structure, and the number of third-party applications authenticating against the domain. Nothing here is priced per gigabyte, because gigabytes are not what consumes the hours.

Discovery is a fixed fee and produces the plan whether or not the migration proceeds with us. That ordering exists so the price is based on the estate rather than on optimism.

Two questions come up in almost every US enquiry before scope: where the data sits, and who can access it. Supported Workspace editions can pin covered data to a US region, and administrative access is delegated with the narrowest privilege set required rather than granted as super admin.

Where a regulated framework applies, the honest answer is that the platform's capabilities and your obligations are separate things. We can state what Workspace provides and configure it; we do not certify your compliance, and any supplier who offers to should be treated with suspicion.

This is a UK-registered business serving US clients, and the practical implications are worth stating plainly. Contracting is with the UK entity, invoices are issued in USD, and the overlap window with Eastern time runs through the morning there and the afternoon here.

That overlap is why cutovers are scheduled in local evenings and why the escalation number for a US project is a US number. The arrangement works well for scheduled project work and for East Coast organizations; it is a poor fit for a Pacific-hours daily support desk, and we say so rather than sell it.
