Sectors
Google Workspace by sector
Sector configuration differs mainly in retention, external sharing and eligibility for discounted editions. A law firm needs matter-level retention and Vault holds; a charity needs to claim Workspace for Nonprofits before paying for anything.
Each sector page covers the configuration decisions that actually differ, the regulator or funder expectation behind them, and the price implications.
Where a discounted or free edition exists, we say so, including the eligibility test you must pass.

Questions we get asked
- Do charities get Google Workspace free?
- Eligible nonprofits get Workspace for Nonprofits at no cost for Business Starter equivalent features, with discounts on higher editions. Eligibility runs through Google for Nonprofits validation.
- Is Google Workspace suitable for a regulated firm?
- Yes, with Business Plus or Enterprise for Vault retention, data regions and audit logging. The edition, not the platform, is usually the compliance question.
